Even though I have certainly traveled, I haven’t hopped a plane several times a month before I accepted a job that required it. I remember that overwhelmed feeling when we brought our first son home from the hospital. “You mean, you’re expect me to do this…all by myself?” Yeah, I had that same feeling when I first realized I’d be traveling to San Francisco for a week, by myself. Then, on to Omaha, Washington DC, and Houston, so far in the month and a half since my job began.
I’ve had a few hiccups along the way. But, that just makes for good stories, right? That’s why I’m starting the blog. Hopefully, a few of you will laugh along with me as I share my my misfortune, mistakes, and misadventures as I jet off around the U.S.
I’m going to travel vicariously thanks to your blog…
exceptional Jen, my belly hurts from laughing, we travel alot (here and Europe) and had many of your experiences, but seeing it in writing made me relive a time with and without TSA gay and straight POWER agent’s. You learn to smile say a few choice words under your breath and how to outwit them. And wait for the encounter with a Flightattendent? There is a wonderful side to them too, called POWER!!! Keep writing I enjoy your stories and choice of words (fantastisch) ❤
